GLview Express Writer 2.0 and a customized version of GLview Express used for MpCCI Visualizer - a visualization solution for the Fraunhofer MultiPhysics coupling tool MpCCI.
Fraunhofer SCAI utilizes the
GLview Express Writer library to write
VTFx files directly from
MpCCI to make the data created by coupled simulations accessible for the MpCCI Visualizer.
The MpCCI Visualizer is (from version 3.1 of MpCCI on) a customized and branded viewer based on Ceetrons
GLview Express. Most of the customization of the viewer has been done by Ceetron GmbH based on specifications from Fraunhofer SCAI, and comprises:
- Fraunhofer SCAI branding of the Viewer
- User Interface elements that allows for selection of which coupling steps and results to visualize
- Animation setup with ability to relate timesteps from one dataset to timesteps from a different dataset
- Support for comparing two corresponding datasets with corresponding coordinate systems and similar geometries and results, including
- Use of multiple viewports
- Syncronized navigation & picking
- Multiple cases superimposed in one view
In the next release, additional functionality will be added to the viewer, - including on-line monitoring. This functionality will be developed in a joint project with software developers from Fraunhofer SCAI and Ceetron.
