Ceetron AS offers advanced 3D visualization products and solutions to customers within energy, marine, aerospace and automotive industries. The product portfolio comprises software developer tools and desktop applications.

Ceetron AS is a privately held, limited liability company founded in 1995 as a spin-off from SINTEF Applied Mathematics.

Tor Helge Hansen (Managing Director). PhD in Industrial Mathematics, founder of Ceetron. Previous positions in SINTEF and Computer Solutions Europe AB.

Stein Inge Dale (VP Technology). PhD in Computer Science. Previous positions in MARINTEK and SINTEF.

Torbjørn Alstad (Marketing Manager). MSc in Computer Science and Business administration. Previous positions in A-vision AS and EDB Gruppen Norge AS.

What we do

Visualization product suites

GLview Developer Suite consists of technology components and software tools for development of advanced 3D visualization and post-processing applications. GLview Express Writer and GLview Visualization API are object libraries for integration and embedding with Finite Element and Computational Fluid Dynamics simulators and solvers.

GLview End User Suite is the engineering world's 'equivalent' to Adobe Acrobat®. GLview Inova is a fully featured post-processor.  GLview Inova support standard simulation codes such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, FEMAP, I-DEAS, LS-DYNA, MSC.Marc, MSC.Nastran, PAMCRASH, RADIOSS, CGNS and Fluent. The analysis results can subsequently be distributed in a compressed file to clients, partners, colleagues and management by utilizing the free tools GLview Express and GLview 3D Plugin ('similar' to Adobe Reader®).

All products are available on Windows and LINUX.

Consulting services and tailor-made visualization solutions

Ceetron offers tailor-made visualization solutions based on components in the GLview Developer Suite. A number of custom-made applications have been delivered to clients using GLview Visualization API as the graphics engine - see Customized Solutions for examples.
